3 DAY PASSES
Your most affordable path to discovering hundreds of rising national acts is near its end.
Online sales on 3-day passes for MidPoint Music Festival 2010 will end at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2010.
Retail sales at designated outlets will depend upon available stock up to the beginning of the festival. You can find the retail locations here.
These passes will not be sold at or during the festival. Festival-goers in the know will pony up for a three-day wristband and guarantee themselves smooth sailing.
A $39 3-day pass permits admission into all of MidPoint’s 250+ showcases in three districts (Downtown, Over-the-Rhine and Newport) over three nights on 25 stages. The pass also provides FREE shuttle ride access on Metro’s MidPoint Transit. Only 3-day pass holders will be allowed into see the Secret Show on September 24. Admission is subject to legal venue capacity.
Each individual venue will have a cover at the door, with prices running between $10–$20. If you want to attend showcases at more than two or three venues, buying a 3-day pass can really save money.
3 DAY WRISTBAND
The best bet. This wristband gets you entry to all MidPoint showcases, subject to capacity rules, and waives all cover charges (see notes below about the Southgate House Ballroom). It also allows you exclusive access to The Secret Show as long as you're one on the first 500 to get that venue (location to be announced opening night of MPMF.10).
1 DAY WRISTBAND
Available at all MidPoint venues. For one day, this wristband gets you entry to all MidPoint showcases, subject to capacity rules, and waives all cover charges. However, this will not apply at the Southgate House Ballroom, nor will it get you into The Secret Show. You do still get free, unlimited access to Metro's MidPoint Transit. Buying a 1-day pass is more affordable for those wanting to attend showcases at more than one venue.
SOUTHGATE HOUSE BALLROOM
The only way to ensure you see the acts at the Southgate House Ballroom is to purchase advance tickets to the individual concerts at SouthgateHouse.com. A minimum of 100 slots will be held for three-day wristband holders for each show, but wristband admission is on a first-come first-served basis and subject to venue capacity. Shows in the Southgate House Parlour and Junie’s Lounge are free. Note: This is an 18 and up venue.
If you’ll be attending just one MidPoint showcase or are commitment-phobic, you can pay the cover charge at each venue each evening if space is available
COST: $10 or $15 depending on venue, details to be announced when the full schedule is released.
