The County Line

Louisville, Kentucky

The County Line was formed in Louisville, KY in 2009, and like life imitating art, in this case art imitates the city. Louisville is not quite the South, not quite the Midwest. It gets its influence from the country-western of Nashville to the south, and the Chicago Blues to the north.

In this same way, The County Line is one part southern rock, one part country, one part modern alternative, and one part blues; with musical influences ranging from Neil Young to The Kings of Leon, Tom Waits to Ryan Adams.

The band was born from the collaboration of two co-workers-turned-friends. Nic Braune had the songs, and Brian Seong had the knowledge to record them. The band has grown and their self titled debut album released in Spring 2010.
